Pewter Design by Melisa was born 12 years ago in 2008 as a path away from life's challenges and a journey toward expression.
Where many see a flat sheet of metal, I hear a symphony waiting to be written. The metal is my canvas, what emerges is my profound pleasure in personalizing a unique piece for you. "It is in giving that we receive" and sharing my work with you is my sanctuary.
With a background in design, both graphic and web design, married with further studying of pewter and refinement of skills, the only limitations to what I can design for you is - your imagination.
6 years as a soloist with increasing demand for personalized gifts, Ryan, not only a graphic & web designer but an illustrator too joined me as an apprentice in my studio. It wasn't long at all before his pewtered pieces reflected his immense artistic talent and enamored by his work, I asked him to work alongside me. Danielle - a student of mine - fell in love with ability to express herself though the medium of pewter and is now in an apprenticeship with us.
